Yeah, just use the Beta, it's extremely stable. Don't get it from the Play Store though, as you've seen it hasn't been updated in years. Just get it from their GitHub.

I've tried quite a few after leaving Nova a few years ago and have settled on Lawnchair. It seems to be the most stable and is under active development.

I have been pro privacy and anti data harvesting for many years now, however it is becoming increasingly more difficult staying off some platforms. Mostly Meta.

Over the years I have convinced most of my friends and family to use Signal instead of WhatsApp. However, there are still chat groups that I am missing from, and trying to keep up to date with local events seems next to impossible without Facebook or Instagram.

Additionally, I am finding it more and more tiring to have the awkward "No I don't have WhatsApp. No I don't have Facebook either. Or Instagram, sorry. Do you want to try an app that you've never heard of to stay in contact with me?" every time I meet someone new.

I saddens me that it feels like the multi-billion dollar data harvesting companies are winning, but I no longer know if this is a hill that I'm willing to die on.

What are your thoughts on what we have to give up in our lives just to stay in control of our personal information?

I'd recommend checking out Gadgetbridge. It is an open source app, with no network permission requirements, that replaces the OEM app for a large number of watches. I'm running an Amazfit GTS 4 with it and it has been almost flawless.

That's fair. There are just quite a few that you've posted that I'd have loved to know who they were by so I could check out their other stuff.

It would be great if you could credit the OC when you post these.

Who is the OC?

The front fell off! That's not very typical.

What is the structure of the Nearby URL when manually entering coordinates?

I'm not wanting to enter the giveaway but just wanted to say what a lovely thing to do for the community.

Happy Holidays everyone

Since the article title doesn't mention it, for those wondering, this is isolated to the USA.

I currently have an Adobe CC subscription that I would really like to end, so am looking for some advice or recommendations. I have been searching around but am struggling to find alternatives due to some fairly strict requirements.

What I am looking for is a Lightroom style app for Linux and Android that would sync to the cloud, or ideally sync to my personal cloud storage. I'm happy to pay a one off lifetime payment but would prefer to donate to a FOSS project if possible.

I have started to play around with Darktable and do know that you can use remote storage but the syncing seems a little clunky.

Any suggestions at all will be very much appreciated.
