Militaries are necessary for each community self defense, because stateless society means communities, and there is nothing in that concept preventing raider communities from existing and try to live off stealing/murdering other communities. It's literally ancient history, before countries existed. What we call crime today is not always rooted on necessity, a post scarcity non authoritarian society doesn't suddenly eliminates bad people trying to take advantage of others because is easier than doing your homework. Or fascists trying to impose themselves to others. Those people, they get the bullets.

Kissaki provided a neat list. Of those I've used UniTask extensively and is a game changer. It's a must have if you are using threading, as it forces single threads on platforms where is unavailable, without compromising performance in the others. We have a game on iOS and Android, with a lot of threading work involved to load bazillions of things, but webgl doesn't support threads, so adding it as a platform presented an interesting challenge. Switching our threading to UniTask instead of native Tasks makes it possible to not change our code or having weird #if UNITY_WEBGL flags scattered around virtually everywhere to toggle threading. And the zero allocation tasks are awesome. And it has a lot of interop and extensions to neatly integrate with Unity better than the native tasks, while not breaking the native interface.

Fun fact, the name Santiago, is basically the same as San Diego. Originally, it comes from the hebrew Jacob (ya-akov), then Sant Iago (Iago sounds similar to ya-akob, it's the latinization of the name IIRC). I think Diego actually comes from shortening Santiago to Thiago, and then to Diego. Basically all comes from Jacob. In Spanish, the actual translation for James would be Jaime, not Diego. I don't know what happened there or if Jaime and Diego as somehow related etymologically.

Started daily driving Linux last year and the ecosystem has significantly improved for the end user in the last years. And I'm using debian as an animal, with Mint stuff is even simpler, not to mention StramOS. Shit is finally good, no joke.

Usually you want to hide your man boobs, women's clothing usually aims for the opposite.

Revolution.

Cool ideas/setting, and Giancarlo Esposito was involved. Low-key haven't moved on yet. I get it, maybe the writing could have been better, good ideas, but not so good execution.
