For actual sysadmin stuff? Ansible vaults. Things that are managed otherwise either in ssh blowfish encrypted files or the company 1password thing (not my choice)

Full size gets in the way for no good reason. TKL is the best. The others force you to do too much weird shit just to get common keys.

He's not doing anything but blindly using his sharpie on whatever his handlers put in front of him.

How about investigating why they were using signal and not all in prison for it.

Not physically being in a scif using SIPRnet is not a fucking glitch you fucking clown.

"SIPRnet? What's that?"

Because they can act in an advisory role based on their own experience in office. Not that the toddler in chief would ever need any of it to begin with.

The bigger problem is he isn't the one actually coming up withany of this shit. He's just the one with the sharpie. Trump goes away tomorrow and this will continue.

Being happy means not needing to have a job.

I went to an RV show last spring to get ideas and a rack for my van. Some redneck gave me covid. It induced RA as a reaction and today I can barely walk despite all the rheumatology meds.

Fuck all of these people.

Ubuntu for a kiosk is really dumb though. I guess it's still better than windows.

If only there were regulations that kept these diseases at bay. Certainly our corporate farms will always spend the money and effort to prevent things themselves though.

Shout out to rclone (sh.itjust.works)

I needed to move a lot of stuff from dropbox to an AWS EFS today. The dbxcli tool does not do full directories, nor does it differentiate files from directories. Its 'ls' output is far from ideal for machine parsing as well.

I had resigned myself to spending most of my day writing something to parse and download recursively.

Then I stumbled on the fact that rclone supports dropbox as a remote. Hallelujah!!! Within minutes I was cloning things from dropbox to my EFS.

I will definitely keep this in mind the next time I am tasked to move things from a transfer-hostile cloud system.

I don't know if this is an android auto problem, or an android 14 (crdroid 10) problem. Wired usb connection. Have tried different cables with same effect. I did not have this problem before (Android 13). My phone has AA 10.9.634644.

If the phone is locked when connecting to the car, I get a connect/disconnect loop. This continues until I unlock the phone, and then things are fine after a few seconds, and I can then lock the phone again.

If I connect to the car with the phone unlocked until AA connects, and then lock the phone, everything is fine.

I have android auto configured to connect with the phone locked, and have disabled USB debugging.

Is there a way to do this?
