Concerning angels there is only one important rule.

DO. NOT. BLINK.

Not op. But sounds like a red light/ir-filter; full spectrum below 680nm wavelength is allowed to pass

Nah, but when an older, more experienced person empathically tells you that your idea is shit you might abandon it. After all when you try to keep an open mind and consider criticism of your ideas you are vulnerable to this kind of attack. Especially if you are low on self confidence.

Might be whoosh on my side, but the article was published on April 1st.

"Metallica are a boy band." was not a take I expected to find today, but I think I know exactly the right people to annoy with this.

~~The original saying is "If it looks stupid but it works it's not stupid." There might even be a kernel of truth in there.~~ But to quote the Maxims: "If it is stupid and it works it is still stupid and you're lucky."

Edit: I stand corrected on the first part. I still stand by the Maxims.

I am afraid it just means migratory thrush. And the latin name for thrushes (turdus) was assigned by a Swede. So how it sounds in English is just a happy little accident.

Yellow jackets gather both protein rich and sugary foods. The proteins go to the larva and the sugars sustain the adults population.

I did that for a while. The thing that happened was that I got left out of stuff, because people didn't always think of informing me separately, when it was already discussed in the already existing groups. Sometimes they would inform me after all the planning was done what the plans were, sometimes I got a last minute info or no info at all. So the choice was between a significant loss in my social life and using the same service as everyone else in my social circles.

A candle wick and the bud on a Christmas-tree

I am setting up a new server for my media and wanted to ask for your best ways to manage an ebook and comic collection. I have been using calibre so far, but it is not really designed to be managed remotely.
