Every week, participants log onto a Zoom call, where a facilitator offers up two prompts (examples might include “What was the greatest historical event you lived through?” or “Did your parents have a story about you they loved to tell?”).

Then, other members of the club take turns sharing stories. They are also given the opportunity to record and preserve their stories to be added to a digital library or shared with loved ones.

If that's helping people great, but it sounds like hell to me.

Having emotions is fine. Failure to regulate yourself while having them is weakness.

You're probably just supposed to feel shitty all the time. That will be $500 please.

Honey, can you come nurture and restore my energy? I've been sending emails all day.

I just go out drinking with my buds and we vent about shit. There's rarely any solutions but that's because the shit we're venting about is the world falling apart, not anything we can fix. But it does help a little to get it out of our system.

Is the government going to give them a car too? What good is a house to a person that has no transportation. How are they going to get to/from anywhere with how most neighborhoods are set up? There's nothing in walking distance for them. A better solution would be for the government to tax the shit out of residential property that the owner isn't living in so they're incentivized to sell. Then the people that are currently renting can buy, move out of their apartments in more walkable areas and free them up for whatever the government needs to do for the homeless.

So those who want to buy a house but can't afford it are still fucked. Cool.

I dont really have problems with YT in Firefox. Just use brave because it’s on my “watching stuff” monitor. Brave did seem to work better during that period where they were being more aggressive about ad blockers but I haven’t seen that for a while.

Agreed. It shouldn't be this way but it is and they should act as such. The consumers are the only ones who don't benefit from being corrupt pieces of shit so I think it's fair to blame them for enabling it. If they took a stand we wouldn't be in this mess.

It's good for playing youtube without ads and Netflix which doesnt work with my firefox setup for some reason. That's all I use it for.

It's just like everything else with technology. As soon as the "normies" start buying into it everything goes to shit. They don't know what to look for and just buy whatever's easiest. Once it gets that far the manufacturers can do whatever they want
