As a high schooler in Utah, this is true. There's essentially zero mention of the community even existing, except for certain classes where it inevitably comes up (like current issues), and even then only certain teachers will approach those topics, and it's definitely not part of their curriculum.
I volunteered to help out with a trans rights rally. And accidentally became the leader for my state, because nobody else was volunteering. So yeah, now I'm stressed out of my mind getting permits, local orgs to help and more. But at least it's for a good cause I care deeply about.

I had a therapist that eventually deemed me too dangerous to myself to be in their care, so she upgraded me to super-therapy where I have to go like 9 hours a week and work with a group and like 5 therapists but I still don't get much value out of it :c so yeah, therapy definitely isn't for everyone

This is really an awful wasteful thing to do. Especially on a day like that. It's really disturbing how little empathy some people seem to hold. I fucking hate Americans (as an American) :c
