100%. It's a coordinated judgement about who they can get to reliably make them a profit. "Pays the bills on time" is the biggest factor in your credit score.

If you look at each of them (payment history, how much credit is open and not used, how long has the credit been open, how often have they asked for more credit recently, how many types of credit do they have i.e house/car/cc) they all have to do with figuring out if you will pay them.

If the answer is yes, they will give you a giant whirlpool to spend. Once you have it you will likely make them a profit, because almost everyone does. Credit scores are just a way to tell if it's worth hooking you on "easy" money.

Their main issue is all of the sudden hard pulls for new accounts. Each one hits your credit for something like 30 points. I expect doing that over and over rapidly increases that ding each time. They dont want to loan you money if you are desperate for money, so they hit your score if you ask for too much too fast.

Their second issue, credit utilization, i.e how much credit you have that's not in use, is affected each time they cancel a card. That's hitting their credit as well, as each canceled card closed reduces their total unused credit percentage.

Between the two, i wouldn't be suprised if that 830 is 600 right now. The good news for OP is that the new credit dings wear off fast. If they just stop opening credit cards, their credit will be in the 800s again in a few weeks.

Getting shot is also a common response in some nations.

The gilded age is about absolute control of the current society, not a post apocalypse hellscape. It is about establishing a US kleptocracy ala Russia. Its about reaping all the current richness of American resources into their pockets directly, about replacing people with whatever robot is possible until you have literal wage slaves.

It will cause a reckoning, but they think they can control some semblance of the current nation, not the aftermath of a destroyed "total collapse" American that OP is talking about.

He wasent stealing it, the federation kindly didn't charge rent for utilities or for repairs. Sisko used that as leverage on him in "the bar association."

Quark is summoned to the captain's office, where Sisko tells him that he wants the strike ended and things back to normal, so Quark is to sit down with Rom and hammer out an agreement by the end of the day. Quark says that Sisko doesn't understand; merely talking to a union violates the core aspects of Ferengi culture. Sisko says that he may not understand Ferengi culture, but he does know who holds the lease on Quark's – the Federation. The Federation has been extremely lenient, not charging Quark for rent, repairs, or the large amount of power the bar requires but that ends today. Sisko then reads off a list of things Quark owes; five years back rent, maintenance requests and the drain on the station's power. After some quick calculations, Sisko asks Quark if he knows how much latinum that is. Quark pales, says that it is a lot, and agrees to talk to his brother.

She has come out as pro LGBT, anti trans then pro trans, anti BLM and Pro BLM, pro gamergate, anti feminist then anti-anti feminist, pro Bernie, anti Trump but then Trump apologist. She was heavily involved in the right wing "rational skeptics" Youtube scene that was the forefather of todays alt right pipeline. She had a memorable episode listed in the wiki with one of them where she agreed with admitted pedophile milo yinnepolois that Leslie jones "looked like an ape," a very common racist trope that got the above pedophile banned from old twitter.

That sounds like a right winger chasing trends and public opinion, ala Grimes, not someone "socially conservative." Someome playing all sides, or at least trying to.

Anyway about it, it's someone who says they are a "social democrat" while repeating tons of alt right rhetoric. At best, shes very, very confused. At the worst, she just says what keeps making her money from conservatives.

Biblically accurate angles are nightmare fuel.

Angels described in the bible aren't people with pretty bird wings. They are oscillating, intersecting ribbons of eyes and feathers, pulsing and shifting and glowing.

Here is an example:

It's good tv, even now. Hokey at times, but in a largely good way.

One of the main characters is written as sexist in a stupid way, but it was done intentionally so the show could work into his character development.

Your stance is supported by the show adding "evil" leapers in its later seasons. They were sent to specifically do evil acts, to create evil ripples.
