Not sure where you're located, but maybe he was expecting the fundie baby voice instead of, you know, a person. My guess is that he's insecure, and any woman who speaks with a modicum of confidence threatens his fragile masculinity.

You often don't even need heat shrink for guitar cables, they're pretty simple.
Printers are a given, I figure.
I want to argue, but Kansas is definitely mid.
If you're the crafty type, learn to solder. I've fixed dozens of (cheaply soldered) cables over the years, it usually takes all of five minutes.
Otherwise you can see if livewire still has their lifetime guarantee (only on the more expensive cables, but if they ever break they'll replace it, forever).

+1 for Clone High. I still quote it regularly.
What's brown and sticky?
I've heard it with muffins as well, but I maintain that sausages are funnier.
Two sausages are sitting in a frying pan. One looks over at the other and says, "Is it just me, or is it getting hot in here?" The other replies, "AHHH! IT'S A TALKING SAUSAGE!"
I'm not the least bit surprised the CEO has no idea how these things work. But if the CEO not understanding something makes it magic, that also makes computers, cell phones, cars, the weather, healthy relationships, and being a decent person magic as well.
Trace Bundy is a fingerstyle guitarist, one of my favorites. Check out Joy and Sorrow or Hot Capo Stew as examples.
The Album Leaf might also fit the bill. Technically it's not all instrumental, but only some of the songs have voice and some of those only have a little. The styles vary a bit between songs too (LaValle works with different artists for different songs). Check out Streamside or Thule as examples.
