I need to replace the pads on my brakes. I guess I better get on it.

Ya, hopefully OP is in a safe place if need be.

Wow, that looks a lot like a China themed sign for a hotel/restaurant in my little town. The sign used to have a Great Horned Owl family living in it. I miss them.

I read the article, and I am also not really sure what the author was trying to accomplish. Right now (in the US at least) is not very similar to 2008 and I am unsure how many "lessons learned" for folks like myself would be useful.

I am unsure how to best do the pronouncing, but en Español: por favor (last part of favor is more pronounced) gracias (first part is more pronounced) In English: please thank you (pronounce more the part that makes sense for the situation)

What about you :)

Wow, thanks! I did not think about a reverse image search. I followed the instructions in that thread, and specifically selecting the three dots and allowing restricted access worked. What I was finding from a web search was from earlier in 2024, or even older. Obviously I was not using the best search techniques. Much appreciated!

You may have a local or regional org to help, and there are multiple national groups that cover a variety of bases. Legal funds, advocacy, news. Pick your passion.

Oh ya, I should have added that this link isn't actually a link... No help whatsoever. Edit to add I am not sure of this pop up is from the app or not, but I think it is from the OS.

I recently installed graphene on a new to me phone. I am attempting to use a product called SMS Backup and Restore to more some things over from my old phone, but cannot do so because it needs to be set as a default app and my phone denies that. Warning photo attached.

I poked around in Matrix but didn't see any mention of this but am pretty unfamiliar with how to use Matrix.

Any graphene users have advice? It seems like it must be so simple and the graphene and other forums mention using this software. I have allowed all visible permissions for now, and all seeming relevant ones for the google support programs.

Haha I worked with an adult who would do this. Mostly on lamps, they didn't seem to happy about it and sometimes did it in front of others.

This was in the USA, but a long time ago. The cops were going to get a warrant supposedly but I had rented from that person for some time, in different units, and I think they made a judgement call knowing that is was going to happen, and if they approved I wouldn't have to follow up on the warrant. That particular landlord was actually really great. I'm not sure if they made the right decision but I didn't have to go to court or anything, which I would have if a warrant to search was made.

I have an uncle who was an attorney who lives in Philadelphia and did a lot of work on tenant's rights in the 70s, but this was in a different state and definitely didn't have as great a situation. Maybe it is better now.

We're in like fourth spring here right now so a little bit of dry and warm is pretty nice!

I think it could be an isopod but am unsure. It doesn't look like ones I am familiar with in houses (usually basements, which is not where this is).

It is about 10mm or 3/8" long, seems to move towards the top of the picture (but mostly is just wiggly), and is slightly hairy. Western USA.

A couple of our horses taking it easy with a break in the weather.

F-Droid has been giving me some issues for a few days (that I've noticed). It crashes immediately upon opening. Sometimes I will see it open for less than one second before it crashes, but usually it just goes right to a crash submittal screen. I want to reinstall it, but am unsure how to handle all my apps. Will it just pick them back up? I don't really know how to troubleshoot this, I am open to alternative paths!
