That’s a fantastic track, too. I like the more brutal approach they used on this album in comparison to let’s say “Great is our sin”.

I like this song by Revocation very much indeed. “Nihilistic violence” is a brutal hybrid of death and thrash metal.

Take a good listen at the spectacular tempo change at 2:30. 🤩

P. S. The whole album “Netherheaven” is really worthwhile.

Interesting idea. I don’t know of a purely instrumental thrash band yet.

Exactly. Let’s hope for a tearful reunion. 😆

Haha, thanks man. Glad you like it!

Unfortunately the singer has left which actually hurts them. They released a single with the guitarist singing. IMO he can’t keep up.

But this album is a real breaker.

Btw. I will check out your older posts as there are bands I don’t know yet. Looking forward to crate digging.

Berlin based Space Chaser are part of the new wave of German thrash bands who hold up the flag. They were founded in 2011.

Fantastic album with a charismatic singer (who left lately, shame). Blitz vibes IMO.

This is razor sharp thrash metal. Especially the first three songs are really worthwhile. The album made it up to rank 24 in the German charts. 🤘🏻

Check out Cryoshock, Remnants of Technology and Juggernaut.

My brother’s favourite Meshuggah song and clearly a monster. 👍🏻

Yeah, definitely there are Bay Area vibes. 👍🏻

Album Nr. 13 by German thrashers „Accu§er“. They don’t get the attention they deserve IMO. Maybe it’s the vocals which could be identified as the only weaker spot of this classy outfit. However it’s not a bad singer at all, don’t get me wrong.

Versatile thrash with many original twists which make the music recognisable.

Overall is their style not purely Teutonic. This time they rely on 3-minute songs with lots of good ideas in them. Good choice!

The solos are often top notch IMHO with an arabesque touch.

Personal faves on this one:

Faded Remorse

Rebirthless

Fear Denied

They just released an EP which I haven’t heard yet. Blackfire from Sodom is a member, although he doesn’t write songs for them. I think they are pretty neat.

One of the oldest German thrash bands founded in 1985 they had to dissolve in 1989 when all their gear was stolen. They re-emerged in 2002 and are alive and kicking.

This album was released in 2020. It never fails to entertain me.

Really raw vocals and lots of good riffing. The occasional melodic vocal line can be found within the guitar noise, too.
Add a good load of gang shouts and there you go!

Personal faves:

Swamp Thing

How Much Can I Take

The Wall

Yeah, I know Sodom since 1987 and saw them last year together with Tankard, Destruction and Kreator in their Hometown Gelsenkirchen together with 6000 thrash maniacs. It was a blast.

It was and will me my pleasure. 🤘🏻😀

Solid steel from Gelsenkirchen is supplied with "The Arsonist" from SODOM. Old school thrash of very good quality, to which drummer Toni Merkel has left his mark.

The drum sound stands out, whereas Angelripper's Bollerbass disappears in the mix this time.

Some echos of Slayer can also be heard.

Unfortunately, an outstanding firecracker is missing, but all in all a really good album.
