I wonder if perhaps wrapping the majority of the text in a spoiler would work. Though I don't know if that translates over to Mastodon (if not, it might look a bit funky on that side).
Awesome, thank you again!
Unfortunately this tends to apply to most of the "I'm not but..." phrases that people say.
Ahaha, very relatable! Although personally I tend to keep mine relatively simple, I just add some cinnamon and sugar into mine (which is also what I do with Cream of Wheat for the few times that I have it).
Whenever you go to the hospital for GI related issues (or for surgeries in general I imagine), they always restrict you to not having anything to eat/drink, then they allow clear liquids, then they allow soft foods, and finally "full" (some hospitals will have a few other steps in between) and oatmeal falls into the "soft foods" category, but often times things like fruits won't - but cinnamon and sugar has always been allowed for me so I've just gotten used to only having my oatmeal with those two things added in.
Oatmeal is my go to! Whenever I land in the hospital due to my Crohn's issues, I end up having a lot of it. It's thick enough to feel full from it, and while it doesn't have the most of nutrients, its better than nothing.
It helps that if you add some flavoring of your choice to it, it doesn't taste bad and thus makes it even better.
Ah my apologies I should've clarified a bit. For example, if I'm on [email protected] then I can see the Admin tools on both comments and posts, since that is a community on my instance (and I am an admin on my instance). But say, for this post (along with my comment and yours) I don't get the Admin tools option.
Or if even I myself make a post / comment that is outside of my instance, I also cannot see the Admin tools there either.
I really appreciate the constant updates for Summit! It's my preferred Lemmy client, as it looks very nice and runs incredibly smoothly (a lot of the apps I've tried suffer from a lot of stuttering whenever scrolling through posts).
By any chance, are Instance Admin tools planned? I can see the Admin options for my instance's main community, but I can't see them for posts/comments that don't originate from my instance.
I actually tend to use "Hot", it seems like a better "Active" to me.
Wow, how convenient for them!
I'm not sure how that could happen with a "ninja" edit though - places that have ninja edits only give you a minute or two after the original submission to make a silent edit, hence the "ninja" moniker.
Yep, and it's opt-in so if you've never turned it on explicitly, then it's off.
Seriously though, KDE's slider that lets you adjust how much / how little data to send (if any) is probably the best implementation of opt-in telemetry that I've seen in a while.
Ah I see, that's unfortunate then. For what its worth, I still think the bot is a great idea for discoverability and bridging the two services together! I hadn't seen it before since I usually have bot users muted and happened to see this comment chain while logged out.
I've given it a follow from my Mastodon account since I do tend to miss quite a few cool Lemmy posts it seems, and I think it'll help me find some communities in general that I'll want to subscribe to from over here.
