It's not a bad way to get started, I'd suggest to find some communities you are interested in and begin to post content on them if they don't get much content as it will show others that you are interested in that topic but also feed well for others looking for the content in the future.

It's all good, yeah it's a little different than your traditional social media as instead of going for reactions and pushing out content you actually need to communicate and talk instead of just pushing random posts more of the time to grow an actually connected audience

Post, Talk and communicate with people.

As you use the Fediverse you will slowly see regular people pop up, talk to them, especially those you've enjoyed talking to in the past or have something interesting to say to.

The Fediverse is about communication and sharing ideas so do that, This can be done through posting in communities or commenting on posts in communities / topics you are interested in.

This is the main reason I hate branded clothing, With moth clothing they have branding on it and it's just an advert to the clothing brand. I personally hate this and try and find brands that are rather hidden / hard to see but also cost effective for me as I can't afford something super expensive especially for somethings small like clothing.

They probably would be, especially as the moment lemmy is still small. If not I'm sure there's the opportunity to create a 'partners of trans' community in the future if needed.

I personally found it because of learning about places like Mastodon after looking for alternatives to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & all of those social medias.

I mostly connect to Lemmy through my instance that isn't running lemmy but connects with it, but still sometimes find myself looking on a Lemmy Site to look through posts.

Because sometimes people don't like apps, especially when some are paid.

I have more than just autism, I have morbid anxiety. Due to both of these I can't really imagine body language and things, sure I've got better with it in person but most of the time if they are telling me to go somewhere then it's most likely as they fucking hate my or don't understand that I won't get they are joking.

Cool I just don't always understand jokes due to my autism. Sorry I took it as you telling me to fuck off back to centralized social media.

Bro it's a simple question. I hope the Fediverse can grow and asking this question as I know some may get upset / confused with no back button on screen.

Why doesn't Lemmy have a back button?

It's really confusing me why Lemmy doesn't have a back button when you are browsing via the web. Is this something that just got missed or is it meant to be like that?

@asklemmy@lemmy.world How do you deal with feeling you haven't done enough with your life?

@asklemmy@lemmy.world At what point do you feel something should have it's own account?

(e.g. Business, Project or Idea)

@asklemmy@lemmy.world Would you like a Reddit Bridge?

We already have a Twitter Bridge for Mastodon and an Instagram Bridge is being worked on by the same .makeup team / person.

Would you like to see Reddit Bridged / Mirrored so you could see the posts you've been 'missing' off here?
