Here in western europe, such behaviour would be VERY frowned upon. You go to the theater to see the movie on a big screen with good sound. And you shut the hell up from the moment the lights go out. You don't talk, you don't shout, you don't applaud. Laughing and crying are socially acceptable if not too loud. If you want to talk, go to a bar. If you want to talk during a movie, buy your own projector. Want to scroll on your phone? Go to the bathroom. But in the theater, you sit down and shut the hell up. At least here, in quiet and peace-loving (and slightly boring) western europe :)
You can absolutely do this with a hand plane, even less than 1.5 if needed. Specialty planes for musical instruments exist too.
You cant just organise a gathering of many people without permits. If you lack the permits for say, fire safety, your gathering will be broken up by police and you get a fun day in court. And guess what happens if you apply for permits in your town and you say you want to organise your own town hall because you disagree with the ones in power? Do you think they will get approved?
Exactly. This is why peaceful protest doesn't work.
I was today years old when i was reminded again of this godawful expression.
I liked the original tobey maguire spidermans, but that was 20 years ago when they came out (and I was a teenager). I like them now for the nostalgia, not so much for the movie it is. And after those nothing really spoke to me. I went to see quite a bit of newer movies because my gf and friends do like them, so occasionally I give in and tag along for the company (I distinctly remember age of ultron and infinity war pt I for how bad it was, but the memory of some others I've seen faded the minute we got in the car home)
For me these movies all feel the same and formulaic. The stories are predictable, the characters flat and the edit is just too much focused on extreme visuals, spectacle for the sake of spectacle. I find many storylines very forgettable, to the point I even forgot that I've seen some movies before. In the edit, they are trying very, very hard to evoke emotions from the audience using tricks and tropes; but in the end it's all a hollow shell, a cash grab without authenticity. At least, it feels that way for me. I understand many people love these movies, they're just not my thing.
Anything that comes from Marvel. Overrated CGI tripe.
But the children yearn for the mines
One of the first things we will use it for is to make a new weapon of mass destruction. Mark my words.
Wow that is quite a serious collection of i'm-dead-inside eyes. Guess you would have to be to consistently put selfish greed above all of human life.
Does he ever ask for other "services"? How would you react to such a request? Weird question I know, but I imagine this situation must've happened to servants and I wonder if they face repercussions professionally if they refuse.
Alright, that makes sense! Thank you for the explanation!
So the third branch mentioned in the comic would be the unpure, inapplicable variant, whereas the first would be theoretical/pure mathematics and the second branch would be applied math?
