So, I remember some weeks, maybe a month, someone posted like 4 or 5 pictures of one of the latest version of Dall-e, if you're still there, could you do me a favour? I just want to make a logo for a something I'm doing with Lenin's face

So, basically I kind of hate my job so I've been thinking on some way of trying to quit, which I find kind of hard to happen since anything else in my country would be way worse. For reference, I work remotely as an interpreter for a Venezuelan company in medical calls (sometimes also legal and business related). It's basically customer service with whiny people from the US.

But well, the thing is I believe I have a pretty good level of English, this work has helped me improve it, and also I've done some small tutoring here and there in both English and Spanish, plus I know some German and Japanese so I think I have a pretty good understanding of how languages work.

I could be very flexible with prices (for instance I am getting way less than the minimum wage in most US states), so I'm pretty sure I can charge you less than any person in your country. We could also do it through some libre software platform like Jitsi for privacy and such and I could pretty much adapt to something specific if you have something in mind in terms of the teaching.

Well, let me know if someone would be interested or if I'm only daydreaming.

Argentina's incorporation will be discussed at the summit of heads of state to be held in South Africa between August 22 and 24.

China wants Argentina to become a full member of BRICS before the end of the month. The enlargement of the bloc that gathers the most important countries of the global south will be discussed at the summit of heads of state to be held in South Africa between August 22 and 24 and Beijing is pushing for the incorporation of our country at the top of the list of more than thirty applicants, according to sources in charge of the details of the negotiations. The President of Brazil, Lula da Silva, is also key to bring the negotiations to a successful conclusion.

The enlargement of BRICS "will mark a significant change in the global order", said the South African ambassador to BRICS, Anil Sooklal, on Wednesday in a talk he gave at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, in the city of Durban, where he confirmed that the heads of state of the five member countries will make a statement on the subject when they meet before the end of the month. A Reuters cable dated the same day quotes three Brazilian diplomats as saying that "the debate seems inevitable" at the meeting.

Argentina is one of the more than thirty countries interested in joining the bloc, a list that includes Indonesia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Malaysia and Egypt. Negotiations among the current members for the enlargement lead to an opening to allow the entry of only five or six candidates, unanimously approved by the founders, within a structure that would be called BRICS+. According to El Destape, Argentina is at the top of the list.

The application has the formal support of the five members and the main impetus of Beijing, which is following with great interest the development of the negotiations being carried out by the national government with the International Monetary Fund within the framework of a process of internationalization of the Chinese currency, which is a priority for that country. Lula's position was also key to move forward with this process, and he remained firm in his support for Argentina despite the reservations of the diplomatic corps at Itamaraty.

Following that train of thought we should eliminate the US from the face of Earth, and France, and Spain, pretty much all of Europe. Tell me of a country that has not committed some form of crime. Most of these wars are the ruling classes lashing at each other, people, the masses, are just collateral damage, you are literally hating a group for the actions ordered by a bunch of them. Why don't you hate the Germans the same way? Does your hate go away after a few years? What's the logic behind your xenophobia?

Nice try? Fucking what, you are literally dehumanizing a group of people, that is tactic number 1 in war propaganda. You don't even have to be in favour of Russia or whatever to see how fucked up this is. Jesus, support the proxy war if you want but at least try to keep the bigotry apart.

Ah, I thought it was the same character, but you are right. Mao is Máo (毛) and cat is Māo (猫).

That was my thought at one point, too, but I think that the head of the former Leninist party of Nepal (not the official name), created another party and she's the head of State now, and to my understanding that party is a somewhat liberal one. So I'd say they are with heavy communist influences but their parties lack direction, so it could go either way.

Hello comrade, I've also been lurking a bit over Leftypol recently and I find it nice, I'd just feel I'd like if that chan culture were a bit less demeaning against some minorities, most of all of the frequent use of the word "re****" which I've seen used too often. But apart from that it is a nice place and I would also love if more cooperation could be done, maybe having both being recommended on the side bar. I am not an administrator, though, so this is only my opinion.
