this should be how it works tho, since other apps can do it just fine without the duplication

for a temporary fix, go to Settings > General and disable "Internal YouTube Player"

wouldnt that fall under "essential cookies/data" or something like that? which is usually presented separately from "legitimate interest" in these forms and rightfully cant be turned off

i like how this implies that the play store is not a trusted source

but no, the apk hasnt been republished anywhere

first comment from boost for me! thanks for the great work <3

ive been on e for a bit over 6 months now, which from what ive read is the earliest that people start with prog, idk how to determine if/when i should start with it and my doctor isnt very helpful since they only want to give scientifically backed advice, any ideas? if youre on prog, what was your experience like and when did you start and why?

the fact that they spelled "renaissance" wrong may have something to do with it

does it? where? it just says error for me

good point, thanks for the hint! im generally wary with config exports tho so ill still keep the app around just in case something goes wrong

i wont uninstall boost for a simple reason: assuming the app still has similar customization options, having my old config still installed should make it easier to transfer to the new app. so ill keep boost for reddit until boost for lemmy arrives :3

alright, fair enough. sounds like a pretty serious issue then, should probably replace the phone. im currently using a pixel 6a and have had no complaints

previously, i woud occasionally still get through to frontpage and sometimes even load comments, but now, all i get are toasts with either "429 too many requests" or a simple "error". goodbye, it was fun while it lasted, excited for boost for lemmy!

(and before anyone asks, no, i am not interested in any sort of method to have it keep working. i deleted my reddit account for good and do not plan on returning)

a few days ago, i deleted my reddit account, knowing that it would soon become useless. once boost comes back in lemmy form, i will be here! :3
