Interestingly enough, the current Iranian government is a direct result of the US overthrowing Iran's democratically elected and progressive government and installing a US puppet. And Iran is feeling the ramifications of the US invasion of their sovereignty until today.

So i still maintain that the best way to protect yourself from US neo colonialism is to get nukes.

I'm not saying it's great for the stability of the world, but how else to protect your country from the genocidal US regime

Good. It looks like the only way to prevent serious meddling from the genocidal USA seems to be if you have nukes

The good old divide and conquer. It's frustrating that it always works so well everywhere.

wtf that is super messed up and very wrong. I'm just thinking that people in my country would literally riot if the government tried to implement changes like this. But then again the governments always introduce these types of laws in very sneaky ways in order for people not to take notice.

Yes, i actaully didn't know about this.

I suppose that's one of the reasons why the Namibian president rebuked Germany for it's stance on Israel in South Africa's genocide case against Israel.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 1 year ago

That's why it's doubly shameful of Germany to have this stance, and also a great pity. Germany calling out Israel for it's genocide would be as strong a rebuke as South Africa calling out Israel for Apartheid.

Truly, it's as if Germany has learnt absolutely nothing from it's past.

Will definitely have a look at those content creators. I usually donate locally, but I’ll have a look.

Talking about the Israeli propaganda machine; in South Africa you have the South African Jewish Board of Deputies. An absolutely disgusting openly pro zionist and israeli organisation. They’re super rich so they always try to influence law or policy so that anything pro palestinian isn’t heard and that pro israeli messages must remain loud and clear.

They lobby the national government, but especially the DA led Western Cape government the way that people describe the US lobbies do to the US government.

Some people in Cape Town had the back of their houses facing the main roads and highways. So these residents decided to paint the Palestinian flag on those parts of their houses to show support.

The DA government promptly sent police and public works councellors to force the residents to paint over the flag. Which was absolutely illegal of the government to do because it was private property. But because these people weren’t that well off they couldn’t fight back because law enforcement was there as well.

@Linkerbaan just want to say that i admire your perseverance. Explaining, with sources, to some of the same users everyday on different posts, and having to take their shitty insults everytime.

I don't think i could do it, but i appreciate that you do. Because I, and I'm sure many others, have learnt a lot from the information you provide.

The next stage of the genocide against Palestinians done by the Israelis. And, once again, they're broadcasting the next step of their genocidal plans to the world.

It seems that each time Israel ramps up their genocidal intents they get materially and politically rewarded by certain countries. Specifically the US, UK, Germany, Australia. And more, to their shame.

True enough.

I'm more disgusted with the member states stance on Israel; not only do most of them refuse to condemn Israel, they openly stand with Israel. I'm especially disgusted with Germany.

The EU as an entity could have taken on more of a mediating role in the conflict, but has instead opted to echo the US's rhetoric. And this is what disappoints me the most.

Amazing that the EU can quickly organise a naval mission to attack Yemen, but they can't do the minimum decent thing and say "we condemn Israel's atrocities" in the UN.
