If the U.S. Marshals won't do it, then deputize someone who will.

Esteemed Chairman's Club Member,

As we push full steam ahead on Squadron 42 and Star Citizen 1.0, we’re making some moves—literally!

As shared in a previous Letter from the Chairman, we’re taking steps to make sure our developers are right where they need to be for the final stretch, which means moving key staff to be closer to their teams and counterparts in other studios. That also means we’re saying a bittersweet goodbye to our Los Angeles studio.

To celebrate everything our LA studio brought to the project, we're gifting all members of the Chairman’s Club a special piece of our history: an in-game replica of the Constellation artwork that hung above Chris Roberts' desk for so many years.

It’s a way to honor the office, but also your unwavering support in helping make our shared universe a reality.

A studio relic that sat above Chris Roberts' desk in Los Angeles.

The in-game replica heading your way in Alpha 4.1.0.

Here’s to the memories, the future, and all the amazing things still to come!

Thank you for your continued support,

Your Chairman's Club Team

Let the Republicans take the blame for bring it all down.

Oh wait, you're right. The Democrats would never blame them either.

The party of small government and personal freedoms.

Obviously, they were talking about their personal freedom to dictate the freedom of everyone else.

Sounds too much like Vault-Tec for my tastes.

I'd much rather mine resources in an asteroid ring than on Earth. Polluting a lifeless chunk of rock in vacuum makes a lot more sense to me.

We've got a long way to go before we get there, but we won't get there by waiting until we've the rest of society perfect first.

I picked up a fifty year old English built sailboat (Westerly Centaur) for all of $500. My local yacht club (more a working man's boat club than the posh social group that the name suggests). Prior owner fell up on hard times in the middle of a refit and stopped paying storage fees. I picked her up from the club after they placed a lien on it. Since the club is full of powerboat owners, none of them were interested in buying a sailboat.

I'm working to finish the refit, doing the majority of the work myself. Helps that the club fees about to about $1100 a year. $400 a month would be excessive if I weren't living on the boat full time... And refitting a boat while living on her sounds like a miserable experience.

I saw a lot of hemming and hawing, stalling, spewing bullshit, and talking over Stephanopoulos.

Not the behavior of someone "keeping his cool."

The way things seem to be going these days, they'd rather have your compliance.

We'll see. Congress and the majority of the Executive Branch seem to be goose stepping right along with Trump. The Supreme Court is iffy.

As for the accusation of trolling, you can fuck off. That was a serious question. On the off chance you haven't been paying attention, there's serious concern that the loyalty of most of our government may be to Trump and not to the Constitution.

@Zyloh-CIG Today at 1:04 am

Happy New Year everyone!

Just a quick note to share some updates: Today, the team rolled out a corrective script to repair many accounts affected by a variant of the "shard locked" issue (commonly seen as error 60030). With this rollout, a large number of accounts have been restored through a repair and cleanup process and should now be able to play.

This, along with a few recently deployed fixes, should help prevent additional accounts from encountering this one too.

We’re also continuing to work on resolving other variants of this issue that are still affecting others, as well as addressing various gameplay-related issues in the 4.0 Preview environment.

The team is back and focused on getting things in good shape as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and support, and we'll keep you updated as we have more to share.
