I was going to say the same thing.

Search your model and check if it is a “shingle” storage. Mine is, and it uses a method to write data that is slow and can appear damaged.

If it is, and you have been writing and deleting content, it can become slow. I use this for pure storage and it works fine. No deleting stuff though.

I avoid this tech on new drives, as it is very slow.

Good luck

Get some industrial washing machine shock absorbers from amazon. $20 or so, I put them under my bed leg’s and never feel a door close downstairs hard again.

Put them under anywhere you feel, and it’ll help.

They are normally made of high quality rubber and have grooves made to absorb movement. I also use them under my actual washing machine to spare the downstairs neighbor. Good luck

I live in a big city with multiple "stores" that all lack the quality items that I search for. I guess I'm unsatisfied with low quality "options" offered to make more profit for retail stores.

The opposite is true of privately owned stores with products. Most of the time specialty stores such as this have on hand the highest quality items, even with a markup, I am able to find the item to keep, instead of buying some throw away item at a retail store.

Who has time to walk around looking for their needed items only to find that they are OUT OF STOCK, or no longer carry that product because their profit margin was too small.

If local companies would carry quality products on their shelf, and KEEP THEM IN STOCK, then I would shop local instead of ordering from online retailers.

Many people forget that "access to products" is very minimal to most. Many times, complete areas of the country are controlled by the same grocery stores, products are blocked from being sold, people must drive 1hr+ to get natural groceries of quality.

Shipping and delivery is becoming the new grocery store and shopping center.

Ha ha, we are already living the Jetsons.

Many people have central heat and air, and a closed in dome environment of their home. Where they go to their closed in garage and get into their space fairing craft, proceeded to maneuver themselves to the tall skyscraper in which they pull into a closed garage controlled by central heat and air systems. They go to work for the day and go home. Now, of course many people work outside of the office, but that is never covered in the Jetsons.

Everyone is always wearing space suit of some type to protect from the outside harsh environment.

I use a lot of software. Buggy as all get out apps gets tossed for apps that work.

Being stuck with buggy software from the 1940’s sounds worse to me.

I meant if air traffic controllers were trying to do the job of the Waze application for people driving their cars and telling them which wayto turn in order to get to their destination. I should have saved that more clear.

Of course these would be different than air, traffic controllers, if we were living in the future of Back to the Future II, our cars would be flying by now.

I’m sorry, I guess I could post this elsewhere, but there is computer software that can do a lot better job than people at determining possible collisions That software can notify people who can then oversee the change in flight pattern.

Currently the warning system still requires human acknowledgment without any communication to the Vehicle/vehicles involved.

A system that would work would notify the individuals who are flying within their instrument panels similar to how we use Waze in a car to notify us if we need to turn right. Having 1 million air traffic controllers trying to do that job for the user is just foolish.
