cool! based on the patch notes it looks like the big spider in act1 has a new web attack.

The harpies were throwing stones at me sometimes. I do not think they threw rocks on tactician.

i'm scared that they altered the fake-paladin or the big gnoll fight. I guess I will see when i get there.

legendary action

I started a new game on the honor mode.

When I reached the owlbear cave fight, I had my first nasty surprise - the owlbear summoned its mate, a whole second owlbear!

Wow insane fight I just barely survived!

Has anyone else seen other new legendary actions?

I am looking for a simple timer app to time video game events.

I am running xmonad/xmobar/trayer.

I like the idea of a timer i can run out of the system tray and/or float over in a small box over other windows.

I tried out kteatime and its pretty close to what i want but its pretty hard to see whats going on in the tiny system panel.

Any suggestions welcome! Maybe I should look at making a plugin for my xmobar?

Description:

[...] shoot 40 units of ammunition. Though this ammunition does not deal any damage, it marks the target on a hit, thus all other companions get additional 2 bonus on each attack against this enemy. This effect doesn't affect the initiator even if she equips other quivers or weapons. Only one creature can be marked per encounter.

I just got this and have some questions:

  • Is it 40 per day, or just 40? I think just 40 :(
  • by "does not deal any damage" does it really set the archer's damage to 0?
  • If just 0 damage, it seems kind of useless to give up a full round of archer damage for a mark. Does this have any real uses?

I just started trickster, and I am wondering about this quest. I did not understand the alignment requirements on trickster when my lawful good zen archer main char took up trickster.

Am I stuck unable to advance inner freedom until i manually change my alignment?

Or will my aligment somehow flip to Chaotic neutral soon?
