The animation and soundtrack actually didn't bother me after the first couple arcs. I think it has a lot to do with how the show engages with emotions. It's not meant to dig too deep. It's supposed to be a sort of all ages work and it achieves that. I can totally see how people enjoy it btw. Not knocking it, it's a really big accomplishment in its own right. It just lost my interest after a while. If it evolves beyond there, it wasn't fast enough for me. Which is weird, because i usually like slow burns.

Yep!!!! Hold down a job so you're fine! Not to mention the last time my house was clean was 7 years ago when i took a half dose of adderall...

Symptoms? Yes. Diagnosable? That's a different story...

One Piece - with One Pace i got through the alabasta arc. The characters all have good back stories and motivations. I mean it is well written, but with how the stakes and emotional depth are managed it just feels like a sit-com. I want to like it more, but i just don't foresee myself throwing it on again.

Mushoku Tensi - yeah agree on having a lot of trouble seeing past the perviness of the main character, and the narration is really annoying. I did like the depiction of combat though, rather unique for anime.

Well if you learn to isolate on agar then grow it's the last $100 you'll ever spend. Spores in those are still good. After that it's pennies on the ounce.

Fractions...

10C* (9F/5C) + 32F = 50F

Or

10/5=2, 2*9=18, 18+32=50

If you stick to multiples of 5 it's easy:

0C - 32F

5C - 41F

10C - 50F

...

30C - 86F

35C - 95F

40C - 104F

Maybe bucket fill each region with a unique color value then place it as a second [interaction] image under the display image[no interaction]? Then the cast result from the interaction image can direct a switch from a lookup based on the color?

You're average consumer doesn't think like this. Our system is sadistic, and economists are psychopathic to think so.

But in any case, the meme points to a few things:

  1. Cost of living outgrowing wage

  2. Stratification of cost of goods - with exponential growth, the minute difference in cost between goods or property twenty years ago is now large. Meaning e.g. new cars which were affordable are now a sign of wealth.

  3. Failure to account for disruption due to major economic occurrences(e.g. artificial inflation due to greedy profit seeking, and corporate's oligopoly on job supply)

  4. Gobloads of other nuance

In other words I'm positing that steady infinite inflation is unsustainable in the long run unless you address all of those or your specific goal is to grow the wealth gap and entrench class separation further. It seems the goal of the political class has been the latter over the last 4-5 decades.

Averages. They're almost always a bullshit flag if it's tied to anything remotely political. If you're not going to also give the standard deviation and skew then at least use median.

Allround was always around

I am building a new PC. I want to run Linux and windows on separate SATA 2.5/3.5 SSD hard drives. I need windows (Winn11 Pro) for work. Linux will run all personal computing needs.

I have a horrible history with dual booting Linux and windows (grub getting murdered).

I currently plan to shut down the PC, switch power to the drives, and start up on the other OS.

Can i use a switch which only toggles power to each drive while keeping data cables attached to accomplish this? Will this be possible with windows on one drive?

Is there a smarter solution?

Thanks!
