Set a timer on the iPhone, both iPhone and Apple Watch will ring. Set a timer on the Apple Watch, only the watch will ring.

Also all used timers in the past are not synced on both devices.

I hate this so much! Some apps do this even multiple times during startup.

  1. Worauf achtet ihr in Bewerbungsunterlagen von Bewerbenden? Was ist euch (nicht) wichtig?
  2. Wenn sich jemand mit Führungserfahrung bewirbt, worauf achtet ihr dann? Ist z.B. die Anzahl der directs wichtig, die im Team des Bewerbenden war? Spielt die höhe des zu verantwortenden Budgets eine Rolle? Besten Dank für eure Antworten im Voraus!

Thank you but this is simply selecting an album of an artist that might have struck my mind. What I am seeking is the possibility to scan through a list of my favourite albums and choose one that fits my mood.

The album playlist shows every album of those songs included in my library. But 99.9% of them are incomplete / contain one song.

I’d like a list of albums that are complete. Sometimes I’d just like to listen to an entire album as I did 25y ago with CDs.

How do you achieve this without creating a playlist for every such album?

Ich fange mal ganz uneigennützig mit dem ersten post an mit der Bitte um eure Erfahrung.

Ich habe vor kurzem die Rolle einer Teamleitung übertragen bekommen. Damit einhergehend sehe ich mich mit Aufgaben konfrontiert, die ich bisher noch nicht hatte.

Beispielsweise verfüge ich jetzt über ein eigenes Budget und muss entsprechendes auch planen, etliche Kosten verwalten und freigeben. Plötzlich fliegen mir so Begriffe, wie Abschreibung, Afa, EBITDA, usw. um die Ohren. Ich wurde Anfang des Jahres damit überrascht, Kosten aus dem alten Jahr „anzumelden“. Was das anbelangt, würde ich mich ganz gerne weiterbilden. Nur wo mache ich das? Ich habe keinen entsprechend etwas oberflächlicheren Kurse bei der VHS oder bei udemy gefunden, die mich in diesem Kontext weiterbringen.

Meine zweite noch viel größere Baustelle ist meine eigentliche, neue Tätigkeit. Aus alter Gewohnheit habe ich nach wie vor operativ mich an vielen Themen beteiligt oder habe sie geleitet. Jetzt, nach einigen Monaten, muss ich feststellen, dass ich mich unbedingt hier zurückziehen und mehr in die „steuernde“ Funktion übergehen muss. Mein Ziel ist, die Leute in meinem Team zu befähigen, Sachen zu tun. Ich möchte Ihnen nicht vorschreiben, was und wie sie etwas zu tun haben, denn sie sind die Experten in ihrem Gebiet. Gleichzeitig merke ich Defizite in meinen so genannten soft- und hard skills. Ich habe den Eindruck, mir fehlen bestimmte Methoden, die mir als Hebel dienen können, um Sachen „anders“ laufen zu lassen.

Ich fühle mich in meiner jetzigen Situation wie ein absoluter Junior, obwohl ich über 15 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Domäne habe. Das ist hochgradig frustrierend.

Und ich stelle mir allgemein die Frage, wie sich solche Junior Head of‘s in der Welt da draußen zurecht finden. Wie sind eure Erfahrungswerte? Wenn ihr eine Führungskraft seid, wie seid ihr damit anfangs umgegangen? Hattet ihr einen Mentor? Wo habt ihr euch fortgebildet? Gibt es Lesematerialien was hier empfehlenswert ist? Ich bin sehr gespannt auf eure Einblicke!

I just came across this tool, which - after entering a city - shows all other cities to which there is a direct train connection. A color code depicts the travel hours.

Examples:

Although I'm not quite sure yet on what occasion I can use the tool. But someday the moment will come :D

Btw. there is a Sparpreis search on https://bahn.guru/ with a monthly view ("On which day do I travel cheapest from A to B?"). Unfortunately the links to the store don't work yet.

Three questions regarding Apple Music app (sh.itjust.works)
 

Hi Apple enthusiasts,

I just switched from Spotify to Apple Music and have a few difficulties with the app on iOS and iPadOS

  • Where can I see all my hearted/liked music?
  • How can I create folders?
  • How can I add existing or new playlists to existing folders?

Options to trigger shortcut? (sh.itjust.works)
 

So far there are three methods I am aware of to trigger a shortcut in the native iOS Shortcut app:

  • Use Siri
  • Tap the shortcut in the iOS Shortcut app
  • use personal automation

All of these require me to do something. Are there any other possibilities to do so? Background: I am running home assistant and HomeKit and would like to trigger a shortcut using intercom, to announce text to people in certain rooms/areas using HomePods there.
