"You can't fire me! I quit!"

Sorry, I meant:

"I'll persecute you for prosecuting me!"

Norton Commander, edit.com, the Wacom C/C++ compiler, pmode/w and upx. I had a peculiar childhood.

Yeah, that's a fair point. Substitute with 'citizens of Israel' then.

Unconscionable. What Hamas did was inexcusable, but Hamas doesn't treat Palestinians any better than they do Jews as a matter of public record. I get that Hamas have exploited just about any effort to help the average Palestinian ever attempted, but that should not be an argument against helping what amounts to more victims of Hamas.

I honestly would've thought that an orifice to release waste products came first, but I'm not an evo-devo-nist.

Anxious, but in a titillating sort of way.

Bonus! She's totally done it too, and we all know it.

Ah yes. That'd be luck. And sometimes, just seeking refuge in audacity. Just stare the doctor right in the eyes and say: "What? Don't pretend you haven't done it too."

Doesn't matter if it's true or not. He'll pretend it is - if he knows what good for him.

Okay, I'm gonna be honest here: That's one thing that's never happened to me.

Lots of other... things, yes. But not that one.

Yup, and I know it. The alternative was an unpalatable amount of self-censorship I had no interest in, and even that wouldn't be a guarantee due to opaque moderation practices.

I don't have a problem with reasonable limits on behavior, but I can't play by the rules if nobody wants to tell me what they are and / or said rules can capriciously change from one moment to the next with no advance warning or notice.

It's a sad indictment of the situation that your explanation is still miles better than any other I've been able to come up with.

The only problem would be with the 'just', as most brutal dictators are indeed thin-skinned emotionally stunted man-children of the highest order.
