Just broke my Gerber Prybrid utility knife from use, but hadn't used the prybar once. Wondering what you all use your mini prybars for!

Found this EDC pouch on cheap online Chinese dollarstore site Temu. Anyone use this or something simila? How do you carry your core EDC items "fashionably"? As someone that doesn't always have pocket space, I ordered and can't wait to get it!

Here's where I found it https://share.temu.com/8IilwA6TlnA

I found a very good - albeit not perfect because of the bead-blasted finish - match for my Reylight Pineapple Mini Ti! Such a small, light and useful package, and in my eyes really beautiful! What do you think?

I've noticed these communities aren't that big here so I decided to give them a little bump here.

Been trying to get the most utility out of my keys for a while. It's a bit bulkier than I'd like, but overall pretty happy with it!

From right to left:

  • Keysmart key organizer
  • Rovyvon A3 mini flashlight (this thing packs a punch!)
  • Leatherman Squirt PS4 (wish they still made these)
  • Civivi Tac-n-tweeze tweezers

As you know, r/EDC has been down for a while now and I don't know if it will ever come back. If only the users from that sub knew about this Lemmy community, I bet we could make this our new home.

Fuck Reddit. I really enjoyed that subreddit.

Any ideas?

I was gifted a SAK a while ago. Originally the scales were camo, which made it hard to find when dropped in grass. I didn't use it much for fear of losing it.

So gave it new yellow scales, the plus ones that add the pen slot, then added the pen, a red pin and and corkscrew screwdriver.

Put it on a hi-vis nylon cord for good measure.

This is gonna be my new camping companion!

I learned a long time ago to stick a few band-aids (plasters if you live in the U.K.) in my wallet. They take virtually no space and get used surprisingly often, either for you or for someone else.

New EDC Backpack (i.imgur.com)

Got this Victorinox Vx Sport EVO Backpack from my beautiful wife as birthday present recently! I was looking at these a few years now and I am super happy with it. It comes with 11 years of warranty and feels well made and durable (as known from Victorinox). Went with me already on a few adventures and I can tell you it works well for Notebooks, Picknicks, even as diaper backpack or just random stuff. Fits all my needs. I also like the little details like a small compartment for one of their Swiss Army Knifes (unfortunately too small for my Cybertool L, but perfect for my folding Victorinox Lunch Knife).

Edit: @IronRain requested some detailed pictures, so here they are:

Here you can see the compartment that’s right at your back. Easily fitting a notebook and a tablet. Or in my case most of the time my iPad and my adventure diary. The zipper has built in holes, so you can secure it with a small lock (which doesn’t come with the backpack).

Both of these pictures are the middle or main compartment. Here you can fit in a lot of stuff or an additional compartment organizer (took it out for the picture) like I do to further organize things. Also there is a small net compartment for easier access to small things.

Here you see the front compartment. With a few smaller compartments built in you can organize small items. But as you - hopefully - can see, there is still room in the bottom of the compartment, so it’s a little bigger as you might think (at least it’s bigger than I thought). I really like what Victorinox did here, as there is a padded compartment for like your phone (the one where you see my wallet sticking out). Also there is a hanger for keys (using it for my insect bite healer, AirPods and all kinds of random stuff that can be attached). And of course I need to mention the SAK Compartment! I love that Victorinox did this! While not big enough to fit my Cybertool or a SwissChamp, you will perfectly get a Hunstman, Deluxe Tinker or even Outrider in there. I just use it for their foldable Vegetable Knife, which prepares my lunch on the go. And what you don’t see on any of their own pictures, there is an additional small compartment over the one for the SAK. Big enough for a pen or the Victorinox Blade Sharpener, as you can see in the picture.

I hope that gives you a better look into the backpack and helps someone decide if it’s the right one. From my side I definitely recommend this one!

Edit 2 - Even more pictures:
