Dogs even not trained by other dogs shake their entire body (like shaking head but entire body) as one of the common ways to express 'im comfortable, good, everything is ok'. When I communicate to my dogs in their language, I often think when doing a shake for 'yes its ok', that this is one of the unusual areas where dog communication and human communication is nearly opposite and I'm curious why. Why does a human shaking their head mean No while a dog doing a similar shake, but of their whole body, translate not explicitly but very closely to Yes?

Is it bad if my apartment doesn't get any drafts in it? I want to block the front door gap, but my dad got mad and said this would cause mold issues.

How and why? I mean I don't live there so why would it become humid?

It's not really an option to keep it open cause I'm allergic to some of the stuff that comes in from the neighbours

Follow up question: is it true that turning the bathroom fan on won't do anything, if there isn't somewhere outside the apartment that air can be drawn from?

Ok, ima be totally real with all of you, I dont know SHIT about cryptocurrency or none of that, the only reason im even checking the stock market is cus since it's ASTRONOMICALLY fucked rn, I figured I'd invest a little into S&P cus "why not"

I was checking it today and I was curious about Etherium and I noticed this MASSIVE spike and it just dips right back down all in like 20-30 minutes. Wtf happened? What caused this? Is there some kinda "pump and dump" happening?

This was taken just a few minutes ago...

And I took this one just now...

In Kotlin, I can set a bitmap to be 500x500 and use ScaledBitmap to load an image in to it at that size without wasted memory junk as far as I know.

Now I am trying to do this in javascript so I can have my website display it's images to scaled sizes of my choosing without having to load the full size of every image first or manually making and uploading multiple sizes.

Everything I'm seeing says there is no way in JS. My ELI5 here is WHY? What makes Kotlin have this but not JS?

sloplike screenshots for reference

I am not american and have only a brief understanding of their procedures and stuff. I heard somewhere that this situation is similar to what lead to nixons resignition. I am just very confused to what the accusations, plans, intrigues ect. are.

I can't seem to wrap my head around (Docker) containers and especially their maintenance.
As I understand it, containers contain a stripped-down OS that shares some resources with the host?
Or is it more like a closed-off part of the file system?

Anyway, when I have several containers running on a host system,
Do I need to keep them all updated separately? If so, how?
Or is it enough to update the host system, and not worry about the containers?

was thinking it's weird how in humans sometimes ppl horrifically murder people. Do, for example, ants, have sometimes an ant that horrifically murders other ants?

The 22nd amendment states "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once."

Quantifying that, if he won in 2020, that would mean that he's been elected more than twice, making this upcoming term invalid. Couldn't the Democrats just say that he won in 2020, and then tell him he can't be president this time? What would be the repercussions to what Biden has done if that were to happen? What else am I missing? I'm hoping the hive mind here can help me be better informed.
