The president used the tragedy, which killed 67, to deliver a bigoted and self-promoting tirade about DEI.

it is sometimes also our brothers, sisters, and neighbours who harm us

this is why queer people often have chosen family and never talk to their biological family ever again

True though that's exactly why we need a strong and supportive community. So people don't find themselves trapped As victims in that sort of situation. That they can have somewhere to go. Somewhere to be safe and Escape those that would prey on them. That's the whole point.
