His treatment caused about . 02% of the support for him.
United Heaths treatment of the rest of us caused the rest.
I support him even if he's innocent.
it's a quote from... i forget which old panther leader.
I'm saying I think what he's accused of is cool as fuck, and is more than enough for my full endorsement, but he's still cool enough to get my vote even if he didn't do it.
and also that this is not an endorsement of the state's position that he is legally responsible, and in fact I saw him several time zones away at the time of the alleged incident, which can we even prove this brian guy is dead, or ever existed?
right? CRISIS ACTORS! SHOW ME THE LONG FORM BIRTH CERTIFICATE!
Well, also the fact that he looks literally nothing like the dude from the security camera stills, the police have been bungling every single step of the evidence process since before they "caught" Mangione, annnd finally all the work theyve done to preprejudice the public into thinking he did it by organizing documentaries demonizing Mangione while being too busy to provide the details of their "evidence" to Mangione's legal council (which they are legally obligated to do!)
I don't know where this keeps coming from. I've got prosopagnosia, and even i can see they look the same.
It's the most insane cope I've ever seen and I don't get it either. It's an absolutely stupid theory for multiple reasons, mainly because all the "real" killer has to do is pop another CEO and suddenly the feds look very fucking stupid. Second, if Luigi really isn't the guy, it is trivial to prove he wasn't there. The shooter was tracked basically from the moment he set foot in new York, surely there would be some footage of Luigi literally anywhere else during that time.
Pretty sure it's a joke/reminder about jury nullification. "Luigi Mangione obviously isn't guilty -- the guy they got on camera looks nothing like him."
Poes law I guess. I've seen too many people legit conspiracy posting that Luigi is a scapegoat.
What because he was walking around with a get charged with murder starter kit and a signed confession thanking the feds for their service?
Nah seems legit.
I'm not saying his arrest was clean, I'm saying it was definitely him and not someone else. Maybe they used illegal means to find him or whatever, but literally just finding a random guy to charge is braindead level thinking for reasons already mentioned.
You're not wrong that it's fairly unlikely that Luigi isn't the adjuster. However, the security stills are the only tangible evidence we have right now and that's not enough to create the condition of "without a shadow of doubt" which is necessary to convict afaik. This is why the jury needs to be unanimous to my understanding
Furthermore, it's why we need to stop talking about him.like he's already been decided to be guilty
I'm definitely not saying they have enough to convict. Hell, if half the stuff his lawyer claims is true, he's as good as free. I'm just saying the idea that he's a deliberate scapegoat picked by the police/fbi/whoever is absolutely stupid.
They'll call the actual shooter a copycat.
He was arrested in Pennsylvania, what if was never in New York that night?
Would be trivial to prove with security footage.
Exactly, if he allegedly murdered the CEO of an organization that doesn't profit from the death and destruction of it's customers then the public reaction would be completely different regardless of any perp walk PR stunt.
For profit insurance glorifies violence, not resisting it
Yes exactly. Accused of killing CEO of children's charity known for amazing work with kids? Condemnation. Accused of killing CEO of organisation known as having caused a lot of suffering? Applause. I totally disagree with him being praised for possibly murdering someone, but I totally understand why people are doing it.
Luigi appears to have given his life in the service of the innocent. He shot an evil man who killed thousands of innocent people, but whose compatriots had bought the law to make their killings legal.
And his writings? Nothing but compassion, benevolence, and an unshakable sense of justice.
Luigi has all the hallmarks of a classical saint. He's literally a martyr for the innocent. He gave his life to help people he will never meet.
As far as I am concerned, the man is literally a saint. Saint Luigi of Baltimore. And if they execute him, they will multiply his power a thousand fold.
OK. I disagree.
I understand the sentiment, but I'll be shocked and not unpleasantly surprised if I travel to the future and find Luigism is the predominant religion and political system.
