Summary

Greenland condemned planned visits by U.S. Second Lady Usha Vance and National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, calling them aggressive and disrespectful.

Outgoing Prime Minister Mute Egede and likely successor Jens-Frederik Nielsen criticized the uninvited visits amid heightened tensions over Donald Trump’s interest in Greenland’s rare earth minerals.

Vance will attend cultural events, while Waltz plans to visit with Energy Secretary Chris Wright. Trump recently suggested annexing Greenland for security reasons, sparking backlash from Greenland’s political parties.

Greenland remains self-governing under Denmark’s control over foreign and defense policy.

They'll be landing at a US base, so you can't outright reject the flight; have them met at the gate and refuse to allow them off the base into Greenland. Don't even send anyone beyond a low level soldier or patrol officer too, just to snub them.

This is 100% how it should be handled. Fuck them. I wish the rest of the world would start standing up to these fuck faces.

... just to stab them.

FIFY.

Can't they deny them air clearance around the base? So unless they plan on going up into space and then airdropped onto the base, you could just effectively keep them away.
