I think it's because they keep sinking commercial ships and firing missiles at Israel, no? They also shot missiles at Russian, Chinese, European, Panamanian, Japanese, Korean, and South American ships.
Why were bombing them now is because Trump's a dumbass and needs to distract everyone.
Attacking those resuppluing or supporting Israel in thier ongoing genicode against Palestine.
It's stupid because afaik it's indiscriminately targeting all kinds of trade ships going through there. They have no idea which ones are gonna transport what to where.
I am not in favor of a full economic boycott tbh, but they should have placed them under military sanctions years ago
We see how "well" that works with the sanctions against Russia. Israel would simply get themselves a shadow fleet as well, Ansar Allah would go "we're attacking the shadow fleet" and trade ships would still avoid going through there
That is an impressively long list of people they've majorly pissed off actually.
