This has nothing to do with homophobia and everything to do with being a friggin nerd. The bad news is that the person is a virgin nerd unable to see boobs because they can only see spiderman. You just want to interpret it as homophobia because it's all you want to see.
It makes no sense to even attribute it to homophobia. If it were boobs that looked like balls and all you saw were balls maybe you'd have a point but this is a damn meme community, not a /c/gayhate community or whatever.
