Everybody is comparing this to nazis, I dont recall Nazi politicians competing for private prison industry backing in campaigns.
What she is doing here is vying for support from specific moneyed interests groups.

They did compete for private industry though and thereafter for control after nationalization.
The only thing that's different from Nazis is is that Nazis were big on paper work. They absolutely competed for prisoners in one way or another.
Yes but thats the thing about it, they weren't colluding with industry they owned it. They didn't beg business owners for pittances.
What this woman is doing is a special kind of shameless and inhumane.
History doesn't repeat itself, it just rhymes. These are concentration camps. Not the first time the US Government has used them on their own citizens.
