Genocidal state

The only way out of this is to vote blue no matter who, but a lot of so-called communists would refuse the call, and that's why we're losing. We're not only divided by left and right, the left itself is being intentionally splintered by bad actors. The left needs to come together, play politics, remove Republicans from office, and only then will real impactful progressive reform be possible.

If anything it feels like we're the doomsayers trying to warn people that their AI bullshit won't ever work and they're just not listening as they lay off the masses and push insecure and faulty code.

I don't speak enough Deutsch to navigate their websites for specific examples, but home foreclosures in Germany increased 9% yoy in January 2025, but you're also correct that property prices are quite high which is the primary contributor to rise in foreclosures.

It's definitely highly desirable property given the chaos in the USA, the East, etc.

You can actually do this in most countries. Public Auctions of homes are for when people don't pay land taxes so the local auditors repossess them and sell them dirt cheap to cover the amount due.

What an excellent place to remind people of the Free and Open Source Element project built upon the Matrix platform.

They, in my opinion, desperately need contributors to provide the same level of features as Discord, particularly with community and moderation features such as a landing page where users can agree with rules and terms before using the server.

You should also just use the webapp in browser instead of the desktop application, imo.

The basis for Citizens United was that the Lobby Group named Citizens United and several others wanted to use money to influence politics, a law drafted in 1995 by Democrats and pushed through in 2002 by Democrats stopped them, and technically they had the constitutional protection of free speech to influence politics with money as interpreted by the SCOTUS after hearings occurring between 2008 and 2010.

There is no vast widespan conspiracy to dig into, it's really that simple.

Hillary Clinton's approval was at one point 90% among registered Democrats. She's been a political activist for so long that she shared a stage with Bernie Sanders during the civil rights movement (although she later had a huge gaff and asked where Bernie was while she was doing that because clearly she didn't remember he was there with her). SOURCE: PEW RESEARCH

If you want effective democrats then put a majority in the house and 60 in the senate.

It's canon that the Lusty Argonian Maid is one of the oldest written works in Tamriel. It's like the Epic of Gilgamesh of Tamriel, they just keep finding older copies.

Since vampyrism can be contracted via spell he probably didn't have to do much.

You can find some of it spread thinly throughout the main games and on the wiki but by far the largest source of mostly-canonical written lore is from the Elder Scrolls Online which contains tons of related quests and 7,012 ingame lore-books of which I have only read a small fraction of.

The Hist and Argonians I think are just one of those fascinating pieces of fantasy fiction that a great many people have made entire video essays about.

EDIT: Note that ESO chronologically takes place during the Planemeld and before the Oblivion crisis, so you won't find any of that lore in there except for the bits as they happen.

For those looking to emigrate away, just remember that you're not expected to pay US Taxes as a resident of another nation under several very specific circumstances such as spending 330 full days during any period of 12 consecutive months in a foreign country, but you may otherwise be expected to.

One method to avoid the attention of the IRS which might seem enticing is to renounce US Citizenship, which is intentionally not an easy task, but there are plenty of foreign earned income exemptions you could claim instead.

These comment removals don't appear on the modlog but the likely culprit comment is

"It fucking matters that the lemmy main code contributors are Tankie scum. The less power they exert over the whole, the better."

At a 3 to 2 score, but also includes such heinous comments as

"You can just browse lemmy in a mobile browser like waterfox just fine...

Why would anybody want to install unnecessary third party apps? That sounds awful."

and

"I havent used many instances but I've never used one which didn't have a mobile site."

The Modlog does mention the ban with the following reason:

I'm guessing they did this because my comment didn't have the correct positive vibes for them on their post when they're the moderator.

It's funny because 196 and almost all of its derivatives are rightfully anti-tankie because tankies promote centrism and conservatism directly harmful to trans and gay rights.
