Nazis are just broken people

nazis aren't people

Not that I'm justifying their shitiness

yeah, you are. not only is it ableism, it's nazi apologia, and bullshit to boot.

To claim Nazis aren’t people isn’t just to dehumanize your enemy, but it is also to deny your own capacity for great evil.

Dehumanization is what Nazis do. Don't gaze into the abyss so long that you start thinking like them.

I think it is essential to remind ourselves that Nazis are people, that Naziism is an evil that mankind is capable of. In order to effectively fight Nazis, we must pay attention to how real people get suckered in by Nazi propaganda. The second you start othering them is the second you lose the fight because you willfully stopped paying attention.

Nazis are people. awful people, sure, but the capacity for evil is a uniquely human trait
