Man. If only there was some way to know before he became president. The second time.

Donald Trump: Spends every waking minute of his life being a huge piece of shit to basically everyone he crosses paths with

MAGA: Surprised Pikachu Face "I'm starting to think there's a small chance that Donald Trump might actually not care about me. No that can't be it. He's totally going to follow through on his promise to deliver unicorns and fairy dust any minute now."

MAGA Morons And Genuine Assholes

He never promised that, though. He promised to rid the land of gnomes, an under appreciated linchpin species. He also promised to reveal who has been pissing in the town well. By doing that, the unicorns and fairy dust would return naturally.

What he didn't mention was that aggressive deforestation had killed all the unicorns and fairies. And even if they did come back, they'd be shot on sight because an endangered species would halt the deforestation and that's currently profitable. Once the wildfires take out the rest of the enchanted forest, the townspeople will likely die in agony with their dignity stripped away, but that'll be profitable, too, if they can convince enough people that their support will put them on the survivor's side!

...

...This comment is far too real. This should be some dystopian horror story, not what's actually happening all around me. I don't know if anyone reading this has ever been curled up in bed at night listening to the chainsaws destroying the forest on all sides, or awoken to the smell of smoke and wondered if today would be the end, or watched a faerie die and not been able to do anything, but it SUCKS. If people don't change their ways and put a stop to deforestation very soon, there may not be any enchanted forests left. And a world without faeries would not be a pleasant place.

"But he told me I'm special. 🥺"

It wasn't even a campaign of caring about others. Like the first stupid 4 years, it was about hurting the "right" people. And they don't see themselves as the ones who could be hurt, until it's too late.

if you understand the world to be necessarily a zero sum game, you think the only way to win is eliminate everyone else at the table. these deluded fools are so certain it's a zero sum game they can't fathom that this isn't our goal, too. meanwhile, the left's proposed solution is to step away from the table. to stop playing. to distribute all the chips in the pot to everyone

It's basically Sauron's perspective from LOTR. "Of course they'll use the ring. Duh. Who wouldn't"

Underrated comment.

"The radical liberals are making him act like that" is the new maga mental gymnastics back flip right into denial river. This orange moron is their infallible god.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I wish these people were smart enough to understand how stupid the phrase 'radical liberal' is

Conservatives are genuinely stuck in 1789... On the side of the absolute monarchs of genocide based empires.

To think that a perv who openly expresses hos sexual desires for his own daughter is going to care about other people's children is mind-boggling.

Unfortunately, we've got a national media landscape that is absolutely choked with reactionary messaging and fascist propaganda.

I can't really blame a woman way out in West Texas - absolutely swimming in the slurry of AM Radio and right-wing press and arch-conservative religious institutions and social circles - who comes of age thinking that the "Pro-Life Party" actually gives a shit about the lives of young children while the "Far Left Socialist Party" wants to feed your innocent white babies into a Chinese Muslim wood chipper.

Probably doesn't help when the liberal party that ostensibly represents the state's enfranchised opposition spends half their time insisting "Actually yes! Immigration and tax cuts and oil drilling and Israel are the things that matter most! Those conservatives are just doing it incorrectly. They should govern more like Andrew Cuomo and Gavin Newsom!"

I'm dreading going into 2026, when the national big topic of conversation is going to be whether George Soros paid ISIS illegal immigrants to install the windmills that caused West Texas 9/11.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

That's very big of you, but I'm just going to blame her twice as hard.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Stop giving this shit stain of a human waste a way out. Her vote sealed her children’s fates.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Do you genuinely believe that nobody in those summer camps had Dem voting parents, in a state that went 42% for Harris?

A girl on my block, in bright blue Houston Texas, was killed in the flash flood.

Seems like you misread the comment bcos that's not what they said at all.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 days ago

You forgot chemtrails and hurricanes.

If only there were some document that clearly outlined his plans in intense detail while he was running for president.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 days ago

document your closing ] got cut off.

It doesn't matter what he does. The other party ran on look how bad he is and he still won. The strategy of look at the bad stuff he does doesn't matter when it comes to changing things. It's just the other side of the outrage profit machine.

The only thing anybody can do is talk about how they will changed it. If that is even possible anymore by using the system and if not, how to change it via organized resistance. (I'm talking French style resistance not a hashtag or changing your profile picture or other online bullshit like that).

Pointing fingers and saying how bad they are or showing the hypocrisy like John Stewart had been doing for decades now. Flat out doesn't work.
