how to correctly stop seeding a torrent file? (discuss.tchncs.de)

i downloaded a torrent file, and for good practice started seeding overnight reaching more than the 1:1 ratio, should i just delete the file or is there a way to correctly stop seeding?, im using qbitorrent

(im posting here because the community is more active and its kinda related)

alright i'll do that, so deleting the file its like being a leach even tho i reached the ratio?

You can delete it once you've hit a good ratio. If you pause, just means you can resume and reseed in the future.
