This is right wing fear mongering. People have been migrating around the world since the dawn of human history and they still do that, it's just that modern countries add a bunch of violence to the process.
Because your main point comically ignored what I said in the previous comment, so I restated it for you. Your main point is also incoherent and wrong, for the reasons I specified.
The Maginot Line did not serve as a border checkpoint for immigrants into France, and the Border Patrol would not do much to stop the Mexican Army. Immigration and defense are two totally different things that you're conflating because you think that normal people moving to get a better job is equivalent to an army invading, which it's just not.
You are literally delusional and typing things that do not make sense. You need to get a fucking grip. Immigrants are not invaders, immigration is good for the economy, money spent on keeping immigrants out is money wasted on literally making the economy worse than it could otherwise be.
The only people for whom immigration controls make sense are 1) people who own businesses with a lot of undocumented immigrants working in them, because they can use the threat of deportation to force their workers to accept extremely low wages, and 2) international corporations who need laborers to stay in poor countries so that they will be forced to work in sweatshops for little compensation. And since those groups are bourgeois and the bourgeoisie control our governments, the border controls stay.
