This is what I thought about chicken and waffles, till I had chicken and waffles.
I think fried chicken and waffles have kind of a weird synergy, but not so sure about French toast with fruit and baked chicken.
The fruit might be off, but I'm sure the french toast itself plays nicely.
Same. I never liked the idea of pairing meat with what is essentially a dessert. Never knew that drizzling some honey on chicken tastes pretty good.
