Have you tried Beehaw? its defederated from all edgy instances and enforces strict behavior rules. From my experiences its more pleasant than any place on the internet ive seen. But its completely fair if you feel this place is frustrating and stressful to leave.

I'm not 100% sure about chinchilla but ive owned a lot of small animals and that looks like less than a day or two of mess. The blanket looks clean to me. My guinea pig cage looks like that half an hour after I do a full clean.

I took a rare geez at the /r/NZ sub and saw an interesting post. I was a baby during this time but im surprised to see the prices. It seems that the food is really cheap but the luxury goods are quite expensive. I'm not sure if i'd rather have food cheap and goods expensive than the other way around. I feel like I can buy a lot more than a person in the 90s could.

There are so many features the community has begged for and has been waiting for. It feels like the suite is so incomplete but we still pay the price as if it were an amazing suite of tools. So to see that they were actually working on this is really disappointing. They spent money on this and its an ongoing cost.
