Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

After we vote Biden back in can we get a couple of thirty-five year old people as the next democratic nominees?

I doubt the DNC would allow anything of the sort. A 35 year old might build momentum backed by popular support, but as usuall DNC will sabotage them in favor of some unlikable 60+ moderate that they consider "more electable"

I keep thinking there’s no way the top brass of the GOP and the DNC will be around next time, and we’ll really be able to fix shit then. I’m always wrong, but Joe, Mitch, and Trump all see to be showing their age more than usual for my lifetime(I was too young to remember Reagan’s Alzheimer’s), Nancy might still be around but she seems to be at least kinda taking a step back.

Hatred keeps people young

I'm only half joking, you need some kind of vigor or spirit to sustain you, and it seems like bitterness is a certain type of vigor that works for the criterion.

I’d actually be in favor of mandatory drug tests before debates. Wanna keep that war on drugs going? Put your money where your mouth is, and show us you’re not hopped up on Adderall for your debates.

After Trump dies, I think Democrats should start wearing Maga hats and flying Gadson Flags.

"We are going to Make America Great Again by socializing healthcare! "

"Don't tread on me! Save the environment just like Rough Rider Teddy Roosevelt!"

Make the other side scramble for once instead of always being on the defensive.

Yes, because they then have to come up with all new branding. Corporations can stop it by registering trademarks. But political speech can't be trademarked. Confusing the brand forces politicians to run on ideas rather than the popular brand.

His spray on tan helps a lot. I saw a picture of him without his tan and everytime I look at a picture of him I remember his pale and old skin.
