I didn't expect that, but i'm entirely unsurprised.

I'm sure Trump feels especially at ease being "interviewed" by a fellow abuser, liar and Putin fellator, so Jr. was instructed to bring him along as a first step toward getting him back on the air.

Is he miming the, 'tits pressed against the shower door' pose?

Tucker Carlson Comes Out

to the Fox News Desk

Location Uninvited.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 8 months ago

Carlson did not interact with Newscorp CEO Rupert Murdoch, who also showed up at the RNC unannounced on Tuesday.

Because he knows Rupert is scary and Hannity is not.

But it's the opposite of the opposite of cringe though.... what's the word for that again?

Sorry, forgot to reply to you as well:

the opposite of cringe

[–] [email protected] 7 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Why do you think anything Tucker Carlson ever does fits that description?

If you see the rascist, fascist Tucker Carlson as anything but a horrible human being that never does anything but horrible things, I question your own beliefs when it comes to race and fascism.

Also, no one is going to click on the YouTube links of someone who praises Tucker Carlson.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 8 months ago (1 children)

STFU I click all the links because I hate myself.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 8 months ago (1 children)

If you think you hate yourself, imagine being a Tucker Carlson fan.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 8 months ago

Yeah that's what I said. Lol.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 8 months ago (1 children)

All is well!

Have a great day!

[–] [email protected] 9 points 8 months ago (1 children)

By that, do you mean you share Tucker Carlson's racist beliefs about black people? Because that may have to be brought up in future conversations. It's a very important detail about you.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 8 months ago (6 children)

I don't see a point in continuing this line of conversation.

Your beliefs are yours, and that is fine.

I try to hold people I do not agree with and those I do to a higher standard; I do not outright follow what seems like MSM talking points or what the status quo wants us to believe of such people, especially when such labels are seen to be taken by some as outright gospel.

I have my own bias against certain people, but I will still try to take the time to directly listen to what they say until I make a sound judgment of their character.

I try to push against my own bias so I may change my views as I continue to learn, but I do not think it would fit with MSM and the status quo talking points.

I hope this explains a bit more about where we differ.

TLDR: All is well; have a great day!

[–] [email protected] 12 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Couldn't answer a yes or no question 🤔

[–] [email protected] 9 points 8 months ago (1 children)

All that I needed you to explain was whether or not you agreed with Tucker Carlson's racist beliefs about black people. It was a yes or no question.

Your refusal to answer it suggests to me that it's a yes.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 8 months ago (1 children)

[–] [email protected] 5 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Again: it was a yes or no question, so I will take it as a yes, you agree with Tucker Carlson's racist beliefs.

You could easily say no. You've been given ample opportunity. Trying to weasel your way out of a yes doesn't make it not a yes.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 8 months ago (1 children)

You can paste this as many times as you like. In future conversations with you, I will now know that you agree with Tucker Carlson's racism and discuss things with you accordingly.

Please do paste this again. It will change nothing about future discussions. You have shown your true self.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Your beliefs are yours, and that is fine.

Yes, I look forward to less 'controversial' topics.

Peace.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 8 months ago

When you look at everything through the racist lens of Tucker Carlson, all topics are controversial, and many of them the fault of black people.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 8 months ago (1 children)

You differ by supporting a terrible human being who was kicked off his platform for lying and making his company liable to a massive lawsuit, and then immediately going to Russia to show his support for a tyrannical dictator. That is questionable character.

This does not put off the "I'm totally above it all and chill #based" vibes you wish it did.

"I hate most black people, but if they say things I like then they're one of the good ones."

[–] [email protected] 3 points 8 months ago

Every single aspect of this comment is a lie

[–] [email protected] 2 points 8 months ago

You try hold both sides of a binary to a higher standard than what?

[–] [email protected] 10 points 8 months ago (1 children)

It seems only weeks ago you were pretending to consume independent media and claiming to avoid bias. What changed in the far-right propaganda circuit that you don't find the pretense useful or necessary any longer?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 8 months ago (1 children)

pretending

far-right = far-left = working class, MSM = Status Quo = Governement = Propaganda = All owned by the Owner Class

I have not changed; I continue to learn and shift my views a bit, but I am still posting views that get downvoted since I left Reddit.

Taking a look at the communities I manage now vs. when I became active in Lemmy World, I had similar core communities, but less.

You may have just seen some of the things you agreed with, and now you are seeing some of the things that you don't agree with.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 8 months ago (1 children)

I have never seen anything from you that wasn't far-right. Usually a far-right podcaster with a known history of factual inaccuracy.

Your support for a white supremacist like Tucker Carlson is therefore totally in character. The only difference is doing so openly, instead of writing the "far-right = far-left I only consume independent media" falsehoods.

You jumped back into character in that comment so maybe it was just a one-time slip up.

Horseshoe theory is a crock of shit made by people who don't know what authoritarianism is.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 8 months ago

Damnit. You always need the /s. How many times do I need to learn the same lesson.
