Mod Coordination

I’ve never been a mod. What’s involved? What kind of time commitment?

I'd like to help out with c/indiangirls
Maybe also c/hairypussy but I don't want to hog communities.

My comment is unrelated to modding but are some of these communities no longer available? I'm getting errors stating that no community can be found with the name for a few of the linked communities above

I can mod /c/pussy /c/boobs /c/creampie

No experience but would like to help lemmy out. As I have no idea about the time investment needed I am volunteering for one of these: tinytitties, skinnytail, pussy, hairypussy, indiangirls, boobs, grool

Do I need to post on the respective community?

I'd be interested in helping with /c/boobs and/or /c/indiangirls, but I have no prior modding experience.

And no, it wouldn't be right to just hand the community over to the reddit mods if they decide to show up later - they don't have a monopoly on community names.
