Hey everyone, I have been forced to disable the mlmym frontent which you would have reached from old. and mlmym. simulating the old reddit interface. Something has been broken in it for the past months and it's been causing me headaches. My inquiries to the developers have gone unanswered.

I will consider re-adding it when issues are resolved.

Good to know, sad to hear

Would this have anything to do with infinite scroll not working on jerboa if I'm signed in or do I have a different, more fun issue?

Maybe. I had a similar issue with voyager, where it would work for a bit and then stop. Mlmym was reaching some sort of rate limit but I couldn't figure out what.

If it's an inconsistent issue it isn't mine, I cannot scroll past the first page on mobile while signed in. I guess it'll be fixed eventually so I'll just be logged out on mobile and if I gotta comment that's what the computer is for.

I'll check if I can use jerboa and replicate it

See that's interesting, couple days now I've been having issues with anything past page 1 getting stuck loading indefinitely, and I'm on desktop; and now that you mention it it does only happen when I'm logged in. So whatever it is, it's not just you, if that's any consolation.

My desktop works fine logged in, so this is weird.

Same thing with Voyager. Past week or so the app is unable to load more than handful posts

I've been having problems with it misbehaving on this instance for a while, so I know where you're coming from. Was also having problems on lemmy.world - but they seem to have beaten whatever it was, because it works fine there now. I really can't stand lemmy's interface without old so I'll check back here every few weeks or so to look over the piracy stuff and see if you added it back. Cheers.

That's a bummer. I love the mlmym/old style.

@[email protected] I don't think that this is the desired behavior. mlmym.lemmy.dbzer0.com loads the normal lemmy-ui (no redirect), and m.lemmy.dbzer0.com also loads lemmy-ui, but it doesn't have a valid SSL certificate. Why don't you just put an HTTP redirect on both subdomains, and redirect everything to lemmy.dbzer0.com?

I'll look into it
