“BD” refers to Franco-Belgian comics, but let's open things up to include ALL Euro comics and GN's. Euro-style artistry from around the world is also welcome.
* BD = "Bandes dessinées"
* BDT = Bedetheque
* GN = graphic novel
* LBK = Lambiek
* LC = "Ligne claire"

Wow. First Métal hurlant, then this(!)
I like how the new CEO sounded in that interview, but of course for us purists, it's all going to come down to the intrinsic quality of the issues. And yes, I thought the previous crew, aside from running the mag in to the ground as a vanity project, really cheaped-out when it came to the quality of the stories they bought / contracted, much of it being seemingly American-based.
No, it seems like now would be a great time to get back to the spirit of the original mag, much of which was to offer American audiences a taste of BD excellence which they otherwise couldn't easily get in the States.
That, and the liberal dosage of cheesecake, of course. 🤣
Whoa, interesting/nice!
Amazing ancient memories unlocked...back in the old VHS days.
Scavengers (tv series) and Mars Express would have fit right in.
I hope HM the relaunched mag does very well.
It makes a lot of sense, seeing as how Luc Besson probably grew up on that french aesthetic and those visual themes etc.
I usually find these ‘side-by-sides’ not too terribly interesting
In this case a side by side was very justified. I enjoyed watching it, thanks for posting!
