The windows, mirrors, and turn signals are all exposed. They at least made an effort.

It also looks like it has been upfitted for wheelchair access. They may not be able to get the top.

Still would not make me any less mad if I was sharing the road with them. But I might feel a little bad after giving them the what for.

You give him the finger, he reaches down, pulls up his leg, and gives you the middle toe.

[–] Pogogunner@sopuli.xyz 5 points 2 months ago (2 children)

How can you tell it's been upfitted for wheelchair access?

Wheel arch space and van door side skirt. Looks like a Braun or whatever build.

Look at that wheel arch - there’s TONS of space above the wheel. Normal cars and vans do not have suspension configured like that.

Yeah, nothing else to worry about. Especially not the one who will have his windshield smashed by this block of ice once it breaks free on the highway.

[–] Aurenkin@sh.itjust.works 9 points 2 months ago

Sounds like someone else's problem to me

Kamikazes the Tesla.

Both cars explode.

[–] stebo02@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Also if the Tesla is also going 85mph it wouldn't even hit. So you'd have to slam the brakes right behind a halted car, not the brightest idea.

at that point you can just ram the car yourself

[–] Geometrinen_Gepardi@sopuli.xyz 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

With ABS and ESP I wouldn't think it's a problem. Not gonna go out and try though.

[–] rothaine@lemm.ee 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It is. Your brakes can't do much when your tires have zero traction

[–] Geometrinen_Gepardi@sopuli.xyz 2 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Some countries have real winter tires.

[–] paysrenttobirds@sh.itjust.works 17 points 2 months ago

Tricky, as the Tesla would also have to be stopping/stopped for decent impact. Better as a cure for a tailgater, maybe.

Fill in the paperwork for a darwin award first.

Best case you'll rear end your intended target.

[–] M1nds3nd@lemmy.ca 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It's fun when it starts to melt just a little and a big chunk slides down obscuring most of your windshield causing you to mildly crash into a neighbor's garbage can. Ask me how I know.

Don't leave snow on the roof when you drive

It can peel off in a giant ice sheet in the wind and destroy the car behind you

Or otherwise, create a mini blizzard and make it impossible to see
