I prefer the conspiracy ouroboros:

Conspiracy theories do not generate spontaneously. They're all crafted deliberately by a nefarious cabal of corporate interests to distract and manipulate the public.

Finally someone not afraid to speak the truth!

Killer comic. Last panel's a little weak though. Maybe it should break the fourth wall, like the guy looks at the reader and is like: "This is causing all the world's problems."

There's a trope that many comics can be improved, if you remove the last panel. I do believe this to be one such case...

I think removing the text bubble and just having the character's shocked impression would be a good choice.

Anyone else notice the bots with 5 letter names spam posting comics here? Didn’t take long for bot infiltration and karma farming to infect the fediverse.

1 - I'm not a bot.

2 - Posting content which people are upvoting, commenting on, and enjoying IS NOT spamming.

Is your life so easy and dull that you have to invent imaginary outrage over nothing?
If people weren't posting here then you'd bitch about lack of content. Go back to reddit!

That's EXACTLY what a bot would say ... 🤔

You drank the potion, too?

I'm not sure why anyone would think "karma farming" would accomplish anything here. Can most users even see the karma others have on Lemmy? I know I can't.

It makes the account seem legitimate, same as on Reddit.

It is kept track of, but I've never been able to see it in any of the clients I've used to view Lemmy.
