Not to defend Nestle, but they did sell their US water business. In case you want to point fingers, it's a different soulless multinational conglomerate stealing LA water.

I'd be willing to bet that, if you go up far enough, Nestle owns the multinational conglomerate they sold that business to.

seems like every state should emminent domain the water resources. Letting them be in private hands is a recipe for mass inequity.

It gets complicated when upriver states do that and downriver states don't have any left. Water rights are ridiculous and government agencies already have too much power. The people should not need permission to have a rain barrel. We need to take the power back.

Where do they need permission for a rain barrel (barring and structural permits or other extreme scenarios)?

It’s these billionaires. Guess I’m never eating Wonderful brand pistachios again.

Yes Israel has shown us the way-- the US needs to stop letting the dirty pesants consume the valuable water resources, and we need to investigate why the firefighters used so much water fighting these fires. We are a capitalist country, lets act like it.

And that water bottling company will obviously need to be bailed out. We can offer money or weapons, which would they like?

Imagine a water army.

We sell water, and I’ll be damned if you lick the rain on your lips without dropping a nickel into this bag, fucking scumbag thief!
