Yep. And Netflix is telling us they'll raise prices again when they see you next Tuesday...

Daily reminder that your local library probably has a free streaming service and at the very least still loans out DVDs

Our library has a shit streaming selection but a ton of blurays which can uh be “borrowed” using a computer Blu-ray drive…indefinitely…..

If you still pay for this service, bend over and stop complaining.

Dropout.tv is half that price and has reams of actually enjoyable content.

Okay, but that isn’t remotely the same as what Netflix or similar platforms have. Dropout is comedy based shows that started as a rebranding of College Humor. Not everyone wants to watch comedians guess each others secrets, play randomly made up games or watch drag queens play a TTRP. I’m not against it, I happen to enjoy some of the shows. The comparison doesn’t work.

Arrrrr, too bad…

I usually only subscribe to Netflix like twice a year for one month when enough content has piled up for me to watch. It's so not worth it any more to keep this shit running.

I'm paying $7 for my seedbox and that's it

Is there a way to prevent/skip the ads on the ad plan? Does pi-hole work?

Edit: I should have been more specific. LOL Not on browser, I'm on ShieldTV Pro.

Maybe browser with ublock origin? Worked for Amazon video when I last tried it.

Canceling Netflix was such a good decision. I was there in the beginning, but I’m never going back.
