Yep, same thing happened when Laura Ingraham got carried away and did a Hitler salute. Not sure if that time she got the ADL to bat for her tho.
I looked up that video to see what she looked like doing it, and that looked way more accidental than Musk's. I think she confused herself and did a mix between a stiff wave and pointing at the crowd, which she then started actually doing. That's my take.

Especially with a decade of other COMPLETELY COINCIDENTAL Nazi references and allusions by the Republican party. Shit, people were calling out the Nazi references in Trump's campaignimg in 2015 even through to 2024.

It's due to it being ill-defined, but we shouldn't just throw it away. The left to right axis is how much capital is used as a commodity and the vertical axis is how much common goods are used as capital.
Copy left for instance views works as a public good not for use in capital gain whereas permissive licenses are for the public good, but are able to be reowned.
Authoritarianism is the same as enshittification as everything is viewed as capital to be exploited either in the ownership of said capital for private use or in a bureaucratic system that tightly controls it. People will be fighting left v right saying the other is authoritarian when we really need more anarchism/libertarian systems.

Typically memes with these use the head base to denote respectability, like in the libertarian right, to degrade them. But they're also a Nazi still? So I assume they're not sympathetic to them. Feels like the meme equivalent of a typo I guess
