I'm not sure what this means, but these are very funny pictures.

Pockets aren’t commonplace on dresses, so ladies show them off to the each other to kind of brag about the rare find.

It’s like getting a jacket with hidden pockets you didn’t know about; it makes you feel like James Bond or something.

I think I've heard of that lol Very cute...

...Tho, that's really lame lol There should be more pockets, if women like them.

I saw this meme and I was wondering given Lemmy demographics how it was so highly upvoted... Turns out it's just the funny birds lol

A meme on the dread of finding a dress you like then searching it for pockets becoming increasingly desperate before disappointedly putting it back might not have done so well.

Yeah the picture alone is funny. XD

Wha? I just think "neat" and that's it.

A dress with pockets is generally a bit loose and women tend to pull the lockets outwards like little wings to show their hands are in the pockets. My wife did this last week with a new dress.

Dresses with pockets are also very rare, so people like to show them off.

I'm with you, hon. I totally get the cliche of womens' fashion and the lack of adequate pockets. I just don't get how these photos are at all related. At best, these vultures look more like stereotypical flashers in a trench coat exposing themselves to strangers than anything.

Makes me think of Asami Sato's work outfit:

The huge tool pockets are freaking sick.

You can't just stuff a portable welder without those huge pockets

And a shock glove. Just in case.

They look very much early 20th century riding trousers inspired - very much as German (para-)military uniforms were between 1933-45

For sure.

Her city's fashion is 1920s-esque, through with more of a colorful/steampunk flair. TBH one could write a whole thesis on it.

I mean, you're not wrong.

Trenchcoat flasher vibes...
