If memory serves, this is mere days before cases exploded in NYC
Enough Musk Spam
For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.
No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.
Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.
Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.
Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

COVID
Oh ffs. Dumbass thinks lack of reporting means cases aren't happening...what a fuckin numbnut
This was 5 years ago, but yeah it reflects perfectly on today as well with the measles and bird flu. We should all get measles, and bird flu, what could possibly go wrong?
I dont blame you for forgetting.
I dont forget it because a month and a half prior my friends and I were all planning a big trip to NYC and would have been in the middle of that covid outbreak.
He ALWAYS have been full of shit. I've been trying to explain this to people for over a decade now but apparently it takes him to become the next Hitler for people to finally see him for what he is
Yea he probably looked at world wide cases at a time when covid was decaying in China due to strict quarantine, did not take into account the lag between China and Western countries and got fooled by China's enormous population size biasing the results.
