Need an app that can auto-scroll up and down for me.
It's like I am in combat with it inside Earthbound.
So how and why does this work so well?
My entirely amateur guess is that our peripheral vision interprets the black and white plus signs as highlights and shadows on a rolling surface.
A bit like how we know there are 3D waves in this image because of the highlights and shadows, while knowing that the water is all the "same color": 
Really cool.
That is freaky!
